Campus Facilities

SABIS^® University is currently located in an interim facility that has been provided by the Kurdistan Regional Government. The interim facility is comprised of classrooms for 18-30 students. The campus also has a computer lab, reading room, and cafeteria.

Construction of the permanent, state-of-the-art campus for the SABIS^® University is currently underway and slated for completion in October 2013. The permanent campus will house up to 2500 students and will include the following facilities:

• Spacious classrooms
• Multi-purpose rooms for intensive classes
• Two amphitheater-style classrooms each accommodating 200-250 students
• Four classrooms for graduates, two for each college, each seating up to 40 students
• Two exam halls each accommodating 160 students
• Laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, Biology
• Language lab with integral sound system
• Library with workroom spaces, a research center, and network access
• Wi-Fi Internet access throughout campus
• Student Center that offers a range of amenities:

  • Terrace Café with Internet access

  • Training Kitchen for the Hospitality major

  • Recreation Center that offers a range of club sports (volleyball, basketball, etc.) and a program of recreation. Two fitness rooms are also available to provide instruction in yoga, tae kwon do, aerobics, etc.
