Cross-Registration
- Cross-Registration at another Institution:
SABIS® University students may cross-register at another SABIS® approved institution while continuing their studies at SABIS® University.
Courses registered on that basis will be treated exactly as if they were taken at SABIS® University. Students must meet the following conditions to be able to register at another institution:
- The courses taken are needed for graduation and are not offered at SABIS®
- University before the student’s graduation
- All SABIS® University prerequisite requirements are met
- The student’s cumulative GPA is 2.50 and above
- The course is listed under the major requirements
- All SABIS® University fees are to be settled before cross-registering
Students wishing to cross-register have to secure the Academic Council’s approval in advance. Special case students who do not meet the above requirements, may petition the Academic Council concerned by completing the required forms. Students cannot cross-register more than twice during their terms of study.
- Cross-Registration among SABIS® University Campuses:
Students may cross-register from one SABIS® University campus to another. If the cross-registration is for one semester only, the student does not need to follow any transfer procedure. If the student chooses to stay at the new SABIS® University campus after the lapse of one semester, a transfer form must be completed and related rules will be applied.
- Registration outside the Country of Residence:
During their study at SABIS® University, students who decide to take courses at a foreign institution (universities outside the country of residence) should clear these courses with the Academic Council and the Registrar’s Office. These courses will be treated as transfer courses and transfer rules apply. Students must petition the Academic Council to secure prior approval for this transfer of credits.
