Registration for Pass/Not Pass Courses

• Degree students cannot take courses on a Pass/Not Pass (P/NP) basis unless the course is designated as such and/or the approval of the College Council concerned is secured. Students may register in free elective courses on that basis.
• Courses that are part of a degree program (i.e. non-remedial courses) taken on a P/NP basis will not count in the GPA, but the credit hours successfully completed will be counted towards graduation.
• A maximum of two courses, other than the remedial courses, can be taken on the P/NP basis in a degree program, but not in one semester.
