Registration of Courses

  • Students are advised to repeat a course in which they received a grade less than C. Students will receive credit once for the course. If a course is repeated, the highest grade will be counted in the GPA. Students wishing to change major will have the option of dropping off the grades of three courses taken at SABIS® University belonging to the core and/or emphasis requirements of the old major and that are not related to the new major. The grades and credits of those courses will be removed from the respective cumulative figures, but will be listed on the transcript of records.
  • If repeated, transferred courses will be removed from the credits given on transfer basis. In that case, the courses will not appear as repeated courses.
  • If a course is repeated at another institution and transferred to the record of the student, the grade and credits of the SABIS® course will remain included in the GPA calculations and not the transferred course. However, it is not advisable to repeat courses taken at SABIS® University at another university (even if students have prior permission) because the GPA will not be affected by the transferred grade.
