Tutorial Courses Rules

During the last two semesters before graduation, students may apply to the council concerned for a tutorial course (a self-study course with the follow-up of a faculty member) provided that the following conditions are met:

  • The student has a cumulative GPA of 2.30 and above
  • The student has a major GPA of 2.50 and above
  • The number of credits required for graduation is less than 25
  • The course required for a tutorial is listed among the major courses
  • The course is not an applied course
  • The course is not offered every semester
  • The student has not exceeded 2 tutorial-basis courses during undergraduate education

It is always preferable to find an alternative for a tutorial course. In case of difficulty, the tutorial may be permitted. The council concerned will study the petition and other options before making a decision.
