Remedial Regulations
SABIS® University students have to sit for a placement test including English. Depending on the major selected, students are required to take the corresponding exams. The English test is required by all students. Students who do not meet placement requirements will have to complete remedial courses.
Credits taken on remedial basis are not counted towards graduation, nor are they included in the GPA calculation. A grade of either Pass or Not Pass will be given to such courses, where a grade of 50% and above is considered a pass unless otherwise stated.
Along with the remedial courses, students may register in regular courses provided they meet the course requirements. Students must secure the prior approval of the College Council concerned. Taking remedial courses may result in delaying the graduation of students by one or two semesters.
