ACC 401 : Advanced Accounting

Prerequisites: Senior Standing, ACC 301

This course covers the accounting principles as applied to partnerships, consolidations, installment and consignment sales, and other specialized areas of accounting. The course also examines the legal liability, EDP, statistical sampling, SEC reporting, internal control, and financial reporting in specialized industries. Accounting theory and practice for business combinations, branches, international operations, partnerships, consolidated financial statements, corporate liquidations, nonprofit organizations, estates, and trusts will also be covered.
