HTM 401 : Hotels Operations
Prerequisites: MGT 201
This course introduces students to the various aspects of hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage. The course allows students to develop an interest in the hospitality industry, service culture, self-discipline, and teamwork and attain transferable skills on problem-solving, communication and presentation. Topics include personnel specialization, quality service concept and dimensions, safety and security, and food service hygiene. The course explores the principles and procedures of food and beverage services, front office services, and housekeeping services.
