MGT 340 : Human Resources Management
Prerequisites: MGT 315
This course explores human resources management function in corporations and focuses on the development of knowledge and skills that managers and leaders need. It introduces the relevance, concepts, and techniques of modern human resources management. The course focuses on topics related to the selection process, diversity in organizations, labor law, labor relations, safety and health, compensation and benefits, performance development, corporate training, and maintaining effective environments. Classes are designed to familiarize participants with current human resources practices and laws that apply to their careers regardless of their field. Class content is delivered through lectures, group discussion, learning activities, and case studies.
