ACC 301 : Intermediate Accounting II

Prerequisites: ACC 202

This course represents an intensive study and application of the general accounting principles for asset and liability valuation, equity, income measurement, and financial statement presentation for business organizations. The course covers in detail topics that are essential to preparing, reading, understanding, interpreting, and using financial statements that are drafted in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. It includes an indepth study of the theory and concepts of accounting, emphasizing the income statement, balance sheet, and the accounting for cash, receivables, inventory, plant assets, intangible assets, current liabilities, and contingencies.
