FIN 460 : International Financial Management
Prerequisites: Senior Standing
This course covers the financial management and maintenance of international enterprises. Topics include short- and long-term capital sources and uses, capital budgeting in changing foreign exchange conditions, exchange exposure coverage, taxation impacts, and global-risk diversification. The course focuses on topics that are unique to multinational firms operating in an increasingly global environment and on factors affecting the financial results of a firm doing business internationally. Other topics include economic environments, foreign exchange risk exposure and management, direct foreign investment, and current international financial events.
