ENG 301 : Language Study for Primary Education

Prerequisites: ENG 102

This course introduces a descriptive grammar of English for primary education. It examines the structure and function of the basic components of English from a linguistic perspective, by examining word classes, phrases and clauses, and sentences. The course aims to develop students’ understanding and usage of English, while providing guidelines for teaching in the Primary phase.
