ENG 307 : Literature for Young People

Prerequisites: Junior Standing

Through studying a range of myth, folktale, fable, and representative classic children’s literature, students explore the major developments in literature for children and the possible worlds they offer to the young reader. The course also gives students the chance to develop their personal knowledge of a range of children’s writers, illustrators, and poets. Specific topics, reading lists, and course outlines will be published annually.
