MKT 433 : Marketing Strategies and Policies
Prerequisites: Senior standing or permission of dept. chair
This course introduces the process of developing and implementing a marketing strategy and how these processes can be managed to gain and sustain superior performance in the market place. Topics include marketing planning, market environment, competitor and customer analysis, forecasting demand and market requirements, principles of segmentation and positioning, competitive positioning strategies, strategic customer management, strategic alliances and networks, and strategy implantation and internal marketing. Real cases per topic are discussed in class.
