MGT 475 : Quality Management
Prerequisites: Upper junior or permission of dept. chair
This course discusses the theory, history, and management of quality management programs in business organizations. Students, who complete this course, will have an understanding of businesses, the quality body of knowledge, and the available tools to enable them to devise a plan for quality improvement based on this knowledge. The primary focus is on the management of quality in the areas of operations and human resources in the manufacturing and service industries according to international standards such as ISO certification.
