Through this program, high-achieving Kurdish students with limited financial means will have the opportunity to pursue a high-quality university education. In exchange for sponsorship, upon completion of their degree program, graduates will commit to work in their sponsor’s organization for a period of three (3) years.
By participating in the SU Sponsor-a-Student Program, organizations will greatly reduce their need to hire expatriate employees to fill skilled positions. This will lead to significant cost savings on international recruitment efforts, relocation expenses, housing, home leave, international health insurance, and much more.
As a sponsor in the program, organizations will be entitled to draw from a pool of SABIS® University graduates who have:
- Proficiency in the English language
- Solid subject knowledge
- A strong work-ethic
- National ties to the region
